ColorClip Tabs:

Using HACCP color coding, snap in red, yellow, green and blue tabs provide a quick reference to the contents of each container and help prevent cross-contamination.

Permanent Labels:

Moulded into the container wall, the permanent label will not fall off or leave residues like decals do. Using our water-based permanent marker, the information will not erase until the container is placed in the washer. Information fields include - Item, Prep Date/Time, Shelf Life, Use By, Frozen, Thawed, and blank space for additional notes.

Professional Grade Heavy Duty Construction:

The thickest walls and lids available in the professional market. Suitable for repeated use in the temperature range -40 C to +95 C (-40 F to 203 F). Translucent finish with transparent sight windows facilitate indentifying the contents.

GastroNorm Sizing:

Modular rectangular gastronom footprint in various heights optimize shelf space usage and efficiency. Standard gastronorm capacities include 1/9 – 1/6 – 1/4 – 1/3 – 1/2 – 2/3 – 1/1.

Safe Polypropylene (PP#5) Material:

The ideal plastic container would be non-petroleum based, non-leaching, reusable, recyclable and biodegradable; but no such plastic exists yet. Polypropylene is one of the safer plastics for food storage and handling. It has not been shown to leach any carcinogens that are suspected of causing cancers, or endocrine hormone disruptors. Polypropylene is not made with chlorine, lead, and toxic phthalates or adipates plasticizers that produce dioxin.

Note on Use:

As a guideline, do not subject even the most durable plastic containers to temperatures higher than the specified +95 C (+203 F). Whenever possible avoid using plastic containers in the microwave oven because temperature control is difficult. When using plastic containers in the microwave oven, remove the container lid completely and cover with a ceramic or oven-proof glass splatter lid. Do not use any plastic containers that appear old, stained or worn, since bacteria can hide in scratches or scummy films. Thorough washing in dishwash machines with detergent will kill harmful microbes.
